Brute Bonen - Cobán Guatemala 2025

Had a nice visit of the brute bonen roastery and cafe on our way to the holiday home. We enjoyed an americano and espresso with this bean on site. Tried a couple different beans and took a bag of Guatemalan with us. 500 grams of beans per bag is a bit much for us, but we were told the 250 bags didn't sell as well.

Replicating that drink we got there has proven a challenge but we've come quite close. Got a hint to try lowering the temperature to get to the best brew. From 100° all the way down to 90° greatly increased the sweetness of this coffee. Cane sugar, chocolate, cinnamon.
