Starbucks Pike Medium Roast

Smells like Starbucks and does actually taste like Starbucks as well. To be perfectly honest, this has been the least favorite bean in a while. The beans felt a little old, not as fresh as others we have recently tasted. The roast was labeled medium but from my perspective was very very dark, as seen in picture below. This does dampen the richness of the taste some, leaving us with an acceptable but kind of boring cup of coffee.
