Bocca Bombita 2022
250 grams for €7.90, from Bobplaza."Bocca's darkest roast". This bag was recommended by bobplaza as one of his favorites when I purchased my Flair PRO 2 Brew Head. And yes, as their marketing says, even myself as a light roast aficionado was pleasantly surprised.
Interesting blend of natural beans from Brasil and Washed beans from Peru. I can very well taste the balance between sweet and fruity. I tasted chocolate, figs, raisin's and even got hint of single malt scotch, something like the Bunnahabhain "chocolate malt", which is highly recommendable if you're into scotch.
It's clear that this bean also benefits greatly from the improved heat management of the PRO 2 brew head after upgrading from the signature. Not just in the heat of the output, but so much more clarity in taste and sweetness. I didn't get any acidity whatsoever. The Bombita is a truly intense taste bomb.
